Oral Sedation

Oral sedation is a great option for patients who experience anxiety or stress over dental treatment. Dr. Beug will determine if you are a candidate depending on your medical history and the treatment needed. Oral sedation medication will be prescribed to you and taken the night and morning before your dental treatment. While you will still be conscious during the procedure, you will feel relaxed and may fall asleep or not remember your appointment. 
NOTE: Oral sedation requires your dentist to prescribe it and may not be suitable for all patients. There will need to be a consultation, and not everyone will be approved for the sedation type they are hoping for. There may also be an additional cost depending on the type and duration of the procedure.
