Night Guards

Many of our patients who visit our office have a history of grinding their teeth. Grinding your teeth at night can really impact the overal health of your teeth. This grinding of the teeth is often referred to as bruxism and many patients do not even realize they have it. Chronic bruxism can lead to several problems with not only the patients teeth but their jaw as well. If left undiagnosed or untreated, bruxism can cause cracked or chipped teeth, headaches, and TMJ. To help stop the effects of bruxism, dental night guards are often the treatment of choice for patients. This night guard is worn every night to protect the teeth and is not bothersome nor does it affect your quality of sleep.
