Crowns are used to restore the original shape and size of a tooth surface that has deteriorated to such an extent as fillings wouldn't be an option. Crowns cover the entire surface of the tooth. There are several types of caps and crowns the most popular being the porcelain crown. Porcelain crowns can be matched to the size and colour of your teeth making a more natural, beautiful smile.

Crowns and caps are often used to restore broken, decaying teeth, fractured fillings, large fillings, root canals and for cosmetic enhancements. The procedure requires two appointments - the first to create a custom crown & provide a temporary crown and the second to fit the actual crown.
